The season of Lent is about conversion, changing the heart so that our lives conform to God’s plan for creation.  For many of us, it is a constant effort to respond to God’s call, turn back to Him, and reorient our lives.  The rituals of Lent help us to remember who we are and who we are called to be.

Fourth Grade Religion- This group is beginning a unit on the sacraments.  It goes into detail on our relationship with God and how it is strengthened through the sacraments.

Fifth grade Religion- For these students, the Lord’s Prayer will conclude the unit that emphasized that the Eucharist strengthens, bonds, and renews us as a community.  The upcoming unit’s theme is the sacraments of healing.

Sixth grade Religion- The class is finishing up a unit that concentrates on the Old Testament history of the kingdom of Israel and provides an understanding of teachings about the kingdom of God in the New Testament.  The next unit will explain the role of prophets and how Christ calls us back to God.
