Admission Policies
In the admission of students, the order of consideration is as follows:
- Children of parishioners and siblings of those currently enrolled
- Children of non-parishioners whose parish does not have a Catholic school
- Transfer students from other Catholic schools
- Transfer students from public schools
Age Requirements
Kindergarten students MUST be five years old by September 1st of the year that they start school. At registration, please provide a copy of the student's county birth certificate, and your child’s St. Mary Nativity Parish baptismal date (if your child was baptized elsewhere, please provide a copy of the baptismal certificate).
Physicals & Dental
All students entering Kindergarten must turn in a signed, current physical, as well as an Illinois Department of Public Health dental form. Please call your physicians early for these appointments; please don't forget to make copies for your records.

Schools operating under the auspices of the Diocese of Joliet admit students of any race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally available to students at the schools.
