Protecting God's Children
Out of concern for the safety and well-being of children, every diocesan, parish, school or religious education employee/volunteer who has significant or sustained contact with children is to participate in the Protecting God's Children Program. The program is also offered to others interested in attending.
Of all the safe environment programs available, Protecting God's Children was selected for the Joliet Diocese. It was determined to be the best possible program primarily because it is comprehensive, professional and appealing.
Listed below are the dates that St. Mary Nativity will be conducting classes for Protecting God’s Children. Please call the rectory to register for the class, 815-726-4031, ask for Margaret Trepal. After attending the class, please notify the school office so you can obtain a volunteer background check form which is the last thing needed for processing.
Wednesday, August 25th, 2010 from 6:00-9:00 in the Joanne Room
Tuesday, September 26th, 2010 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm in the Joanne Room
